Christmas at Austin Friars with Ultimate Experience
Planning your next festive celebration? Then find out why you should choose Austin Friars, one of our most luxurious spaces, for your next Christmas party in London.
What’s in store at Austin Friars this Christmas?
This year from Wednesday 29th November to Friday 22nd December, Christmas at Austin Friars takes on a traditional Christmas theme with hues of purple, gold and black accents, festive foliage, vibrant lighting, and luxuriant golden candelabras.
Like all our our events spaces, you’ll receive full event management support, with a dedicated venue manager, full production and AV, a DJ and disco, and ambient lighting. Because we’re part of the Concerto Group, we have incredible economies of scale, too. That means we can give you the best suppliers for a significantly lower price than hiring everything separately.
You can expect top-notch entertainment at your London Christmas party, with the renowned Dapper Dudes performing fresh swing music in their own unique style. Including pianist Michael Roulston and double bass player Tom Manzi, the jazz duo has been performing for a decade, having entertained at other luxury venues such as the London Natural History Museum and the Royal Albert Hall.
Fantastic cuisine from Create
Treat your guests to something they’ll never forget: delicious, seasonal British cuisine from our acclaimed catering partner, Create. With typical dishes ranging from potted shrimp for starters, oven roasted duck or goats’ cheese and baked shallot pithivier for mains, and irresistible desserts like white chocolate, vanilla and cardamom tart, your guests will be blown away at their next Christmas party in London.
More about Austin Friars
Near the heart of the City of London, a short walk from Liverpool Street and Moorgate (underground and rail), and Bank (underground and DLR), Austin Friars has existed for nearly 800 years. Originally a priory, it is now one of the most sought-after events spaces in the City. Featuring beautiful stained-glass windows, towering ceilings, and arched doors, it was built with the same high-quality Portland stone that was used for the construction of St Paul’s Cathedral.
This Grade II-Listed building can house up to 220 guests for standing receptions & buffets, or 140 for seated dinners, making it well suited to a smaller Christmas party in London.
