We’re excited to announce our pundits and hosts for the Euros Screenings:

England vs Wales, 16th June: Sir Trevor Brooking

West Ham and England football legend, Sir Trevor Brooking was an FA Cup winner twice, scoring the only goal of the 1980 final against Arsenal with a rare header. He made his debut for England in 1974, was capped 47 times and went to the 1982 World Cup in Spain. He joined BBC Radio and Television two years later and has been a regular on BBC Match of the Day and a host on BBC Five Live. He has covered Euro 96 and Euro 2000, the 1998 World Cup finals in France and the 2002 World Cup in Korea and Japan. Trevor was, until recently, Head of Development at the Football Association before retiring in 2014.

A loyal Sparks Vice President and trustee he attends as many events as possible as well as hosting his own annual golf day for the charity.

England vs Slovakia, 20th June: Terry Butcher

Terry Butcher is a name that resonates with all football fans. Who can forget the pictures of the giant central defender, fists clenched, bloody head bandaged, the Three Lions on his once white England shirt streaked with claret? Butcher has earned his stripes and his reputation over the years not only as an honest and committed footballer but also as a broadcaster who says it exactly as he finds it and a manager who never asks for less than 100% from his players.

During his playing career Terry captained the England national team, winning 77 caps in a ten-year international career that featured three World Cups. Terry also enjoyed success in his club career, particularly with Ipswich Town and Rangers. He has subsequently managed clubs in England, Scotland, Australia and Wales.
