Glaziers Hall dates back to the late Georgian era, when it was built to replace the original Glaziers Hall that was devastated by the Great Fire of London in 1666. The earlier building was once the home of the Worshipful Company of Glaziers and Painters of Glass, which is one of the City of London’s Livery Companies. It was established almost 700 years ago, when it was known as the Guild of Glaziers, hence the name of the venue.
