Whether you’re planning a corporate dinner or a summer party, hosting your event in one of our luxury marquee venues can help you make an excellent impression.
Why you should choose a marquee for your next event
1. A flexible blank canvas space
Marquees are purpose-built for events, so you can easily customise the theme and layout, from sound and lighting to the table layout and décor.
2. Bring the outdoors indoors
On a warm, sunny day, no guest wants to be trapped indoors. With a marquee, your guests will have more space to make the most of the good weather. If the weather makes a turn for the worse, they can quickly return to the marquee.
3. Beautiful surroundings
Many of our luxury marquees are surrounded by lawns, giving you a picturesque backdrop for your event. That’s why they’re a popular choice for summer parties, conferences, weddings and any other special occasion where you want that extra ‘wow’ factor.
Our two favourite marquee venues:
1. City Central at the HAC
One of our most exclusive London event venues, City Central in the City is overlooked by the headquarters of the Honourable Artillery Company (HAC), one of the oldest military organisations in the world. With space for between 400 and 2,400 guests, it’s the perfect setting for show-stopping summer events, from parties to conferences. Plus, you can give your guests exclusive access to a funfair with a carousel, dodgems and arcade stalls.
The City Central marquee can be hired from June to July. It’s just a short walk from Moorgate station, which is served by the Northern, Metropolitan, Hammersmith & City, Circle lines, and rail.
2. The Pavilion at the Tower of London
Book your event next to one of the world’s most famous castles. The Tower of London is home to more than 23,500 jewels and is still an official royal residence. Legend has it that the ghost of the fifth wife of Henry VIII, Catherine Howard, still resides here, among other famous historic figures (including a grizzly bear!).
Also available from June to July, the enchanting Pavilion marquee can accommodate up to 1,200 guests for a standing reception, or between 250 and 700 for a seated dinner. Whether you book this London events venue for a charity reception or an awards ceremony, your guests will have exclusive access to the North Moat and enjoy magnificent views of the rest of the tower. The Pavilion is just a short walk from Tower Hill station (Circle, District, DLR), Tower Gateway (DLR), and Fenchurch Street (rail).
