Celebrate the summer with a party at new pop-up space The Paperworks this summer and your guests could be enjoying a street food menu from Create Food & Party Design.

You’ll be able to take your pick from a selection of food stalls, inspired by world cuisines. Choices include the Asian Shack, Taco Shack, Smoke Shack, Indian Shack and Middle Eastern Shack.

At the Asian Shack food is served on bamboo kiddi boats and the emphasis is on bold flavours and interactivity. Guests can try dishes such as Bun Cha (chargrilled pork served with lettuce, rice vermicelli, chilli, herbs and pickled carrot and daikon), Tom Yum Gung (spicy sour Thai soup with chilli, galangal and lemongrass with prawns and shitake mushrooms) and Pad Thai (mild spiced fried flat rice noodles with prawns, chicken and egg finished with bean sprouts, fresh lime and toasted peanuts) amongst many more options.

The Smoke Shack is guaranteed to be a hit this summer. This is classic barbecue grub at its best, creamy cheese and mouth-watering meat cooked either long and slow or quick and high to give a huge flavour hit. Favourites include Mac n Cheese, Bunny Chow, the Docklands Dirty Dog and Chicken Brick Fillet Bap.


At the Taco Shack guests will experience South American cuisine at its best. Stewed and braised food is served with fresh tomato and ripe avocados and classic corn flat breads or crisp nacho shells. There’s also baked beans and chipotle sauce to snack on, to intensify the incredible flavours of Mexico. Pick from Sweet Potato & Feta Taquitos, Slow-Cooked Pork Burritos, Pork Pilbil Tacos and lots more.

The Middle Eastern Shack is a station of intrigue, dressed using earthenware dishes and tagine pots with the focal of mezze and an abundance of garnishes and pickled vegetables. Stand out dishes include Jawaneh Meshque (Grilled marinated chicken wings with garlic and harissa sauce), Arayes (Grilled crispy pitta bread filled with minced lamb and tahini sauce) and Chicken Shawarma (Thin slices of confit chicken cooked in Shawarma spices and served with tomato, sumac, parsley and red pepper).

Head to the Indian Shack for a station of intense aromas and flavours. Bubbling cauldrons of curry and griddles of marinated meats and vegetables take guests to India – this is a full on station with a street market feel, where dishes such as Chicken Tikka Roti stand side by side with curries, samosas, bhajis and an incredible rich Dal Makhani.
